I had looked at more preschools than I could count before I found Little Dreamers but, none of them had the qualities that I was looking for but as soon as I met Mrs. Cournoyer and heard about the way that she teachers and what the kids would be learning I knew that I found the perfect school for us. Our experiences with Little dreamers has been fantastic and I could see the results of what my son was learning form week one.
I have not seen a child all year that has been clinging to their parents and who doesn’t look forward to walking into class in the morning. My son loves going to school and learning and then coming home and teaching everyone what he learned that week. The pride that he has in himself when he can name all of his letters and their sounds or when he is explaining to someone about hibernations and habitats, singing the clean-up song when he cleans his room, or when he proudly writes his name on anything he can get his hands on is heart -warming for me to watch.
Mrs. Cournoyer and Mrs. Normandin are very approachable teachers who have made learning fun and easy for their students. My son just had his Kindergarten assessment and tested above average in everything he needed to know and I owe that to the great teachers he had this year. Although we are sad to be leaving Little Dreamers and would love for Mrs. Cournoyer and Mrs. Normandin to keep teaching the kids right up to High School graduation (an idea brought up by parents a few times) I know that my son is very well prepared for the next step in his education and thanks to the great experiences he has had here he has no reservations and looks forward to starting school and as his mother I couldn’t ask for anything more than that.
